We are certain that most veteran comedians in the Philippines made us all laugh with their punch line and humorous ideas. However, this news will probably make us sad.

It was confirmed by one of his relative on a recent FB post.

We all know that Bentong was known as sidekick in some Philippine movies including Pera o Bayong with stars John Estrada, Randy Santiago and Willie Revillame. But before that, he started as production assistant until that he was given a break to do some comedy acting because of his potential.

He died at the age of 55. Rest in peace, Bentong.
