The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is coming back and it will be as spooky as ever!
Mark your diaries in sharpie, witches! It is revealed that CAOS is gonna be back on April 5th!
A dark, coming-of-age story full of horror, occult, and of course, witchcraft, Netflix just dropped the first glimpse at the next part of Sabrina’s story. The trailer showed the teenage witch with shorter, blonder hair, wearing all black, and getting up to all sorts of magical things.
As exciting as it is, the first series went down so well that fans are already anticipating a second installment. After a heartbreaking release of A Midwinter’s Tale holiday episode last December, can we expect from the same producers, who blessed us with Riverdale, a part two of the adventures of our favorite witch?
Praise Satan because the answer is yes! The cast is already filming!
Kiernan Shipka who plays Sabrina Spellman, told in an interview that the cast and crew went straight from working on season one to season two, filming in Vancouver.
“It’s been really so exceptionally fun to film, especially given the fact that I feel like we’re already in such a rhythm from coming out of the first season. To jump right into the second one was really, really fun and just a great opportunity to keep the momentum going,” Kiernan said.
Also, another good news! The whole main cast are set to return which means, we can expect to see Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka), ex-boyfriend Harvey Kinkle (Ross Lynch), mortal BFFs Rosalind (Jaz Sinclair) and Susie (Lachlan Watson), Sabrina’s aunts Hilda and Zelda (Lucy Davis and Miranda Otto), Ambrose (Chance Perdomo), the weird sisters (Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, and Abigail Cowen), Madame Satan (Michelle Gomez), and Father Blackwood (Richard Coyle).
The new spin of this series has flown Netflix on a broomstick and cast a spell on us, normalizing the phrase “Hail Satan” and sending us all out on a hunt for the perfect red jacket.
A lot of questions are left unanswered in the first part of the series. Will Harvey and Sabrina be together again in the next part?
“It’s very hard for him because of where he comes from and his ancestry and all those things, but I think he starts to see that it can also be good. Because at first it’s all evil to him, ‘Praise Satan!’ and all that stuff, but then he starts to see some miracles,” as Ross Lynch answered the shippers’ question via interview.
“There’s gonna be some new exciting relationships that blossom in season two, which I think the fans aren’t gonna be initially excited about, but I think they’re gonna grow to love these new relationships,” he said. “I don’t even know what I’m officially allowed to talk about… Every character meets new people.”
Shocking! Does this mean there’s hope for Habrina? Or the new trailer will be true—that some new relationships will be forming and it doesn’t seem like any old ones will get back together?
Well, that’s enough getting tangled in a love drama in the series. The real question here is will Salem be able to talk?
Watch out for season two because a lot more spookiness and questions await to be unveiled!
