The teaser trailer for the second full-length movie of the Frozen franchise drops a day before Valentine’s and it is beyond intense with no jolly musicality in sight.

The two-minute trailer is an eerily wordless collection of scenes that show our favorite characters facing different unclear obstacles, unforgiving when it comes to spilling any kind of clue to the plot, at all.

Queen Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel) opens the trailer with a scene of her seemingly striving to cross the ocean, battling harsh waves to escape a barren island by turning it to ice.
Ana (voiced by Kristen Bell) is also facing a situation of her own that may or may not involve some kind of magic. Hard to know.
Kristoff (voiced by Jonathan Groff) is also shown in an intense scene with him riding his reindeer, Sven, and a herd of other reindeers riding fast. Again, hard to know.
The whimsical singing snowman, Olaf (voiced by Josh Gad) barely made an appearance in the trailer, adding an even darker, more mature tone to it.

However, Frozen II directors confirmed that the movie is still a musical with the return of the Oscar-winning composers and original songwriters of Frozen, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, and Robert Lopez.

The much-anticipated sequel for the 2013 box-office hit is set for a worldwide release on November 22.
