Different Uses of Mayonnaise

We all know mayonnaise is a dressing usually used in sandwiches, salads, and other food. But did you also know mayonnaise can be used for different stuff other than food?

1. Removes crayons on the wall

Children might have written on your walls using their crayons, but we have a solution for that. Spread the mayonnaise on the crayon marks and let it stay for 10-15 minutes, then wipe it with a clean cloth after.

2. Shine stainless steel

If the stainless steel is full of marks and fingerprints, all you have to do is get a clean cloth and put a dab of mayonnaise. Wipe the stainless steel with it until it becomes shiny again.

3. Can kill lice

Mayonnaise is a good solution to kill lice. Spread the mayonnaise on the scalp and cover the head with a showercap before sleeping at night. Rinse it out in the morning and use a lice comb to remove dead eggs.

4. Skin Moisturizer

You can also use mayonnaise to moisturize the skin. Just spread the mayonnaise on the dry skin and let it stay for 10 minutes, then wash it after.

5. Polish silver

If silver jewelries are starting to fade, mayonnaise can also be used to polish them. The acid lemon/vinegar of the mayonnaise can help to bring back the shine of silver jewelries.

6. Nail Treatment

Mayonnaise can help soften dead skin and nails of your fingers and toes. Soak your nails in a bowl of mayonnaise to add protein in your fingers and toes.

7. Hair Conditioner

Mayonnaise is good for a dry and itchy scalp. Massage the mayonnaise on the scalp thoroughly for 30 minutes. Rinse and use shampoo after. This will make the scalp nourshied and the hair soft.
