The upcoming South East Asian (SEA) Games 2019 that will be hosted by the Philippines is the first to include PC, mobile, and console games as official medal events.

Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee (Phisgoc) along with its official partner Razer, revealed the five of six medal events which are DotA 2, and StarCraft II for PC; Arena of Valor and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for mobile; and for the consoles it’s Tekken 7, the other one is yet to be announce and still undergoing evaluation.

It’s not surprising that Dota2, one of the most popular eSport title in the world made the cut for PC category. In SEA region, there are many competitive teams that drew a mark in the world wide Dota 2 tournament, some of them are the TNC Predator, Mineski, and Fnatic.

Mobile Legends and Arena of Valor are both gaining huge popularity among smart phone users due to its convenience that it can be played on your mobile phones.
Criterion for the selection of games are diversity of the titles, popularity, strategy and teamwork demanded by the game, and physical and mental intensity that must be endured through marathon matches.
