El Nino strikes back!

The aggravating heat of El Nino are roaming around the winds of the world. We may feel an extreme heat every afternoon of the day and even sometimes in night time.

Some other parts of the Philippines like in Northern Mindanao, the effect of El Nino is already felt due to damage on crops because of the extreme heat. According to DA Region 10 Director Carlene Collado he received a report saying that the province of Bukidnon and Misamis Oriental loses about P 8.075 million worth of rice, P 279.69 million worth of corn, and about P 4. 450 million for vegetables.

PAGASA said that El Nino is only happening every 2 to 7 years and lasts for at least 8 to 12 months. El Nino on the other hand are already present in the tropical Pacific.

From this condition we are only suffering a weak El Nino which means that the weather phenomenon won’t dominate the global pattern of the world.
