Say hello to our generation! Generation Z or Gen Z are those who were born from 1996 to 2014. Beyond being the students today, we were also described as the early consumers and next workers. But how well can the working industry handle us—Gen Z’s as we were defined as the workforce of the future?

This generation rely more on the internet for connectivity and content. Using social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, we occasionally filter things—things we only want to see and things we don’t want to hear at all. With this, organizations and companies need to step up their game and be more strategic in integrating digital platform for them not be filtered.
Gen Z’s world is ultra connected—obviously. We are using the internet not just to get an update from our friends and families but for the news as well. Technically, we are using internet to convey our message.
There were also cons of this ultra speed world where Gen Z’s dwell in. because of hyper speed connection, our generation were exposed on the news where lot of depraved and negative societal issues and short comings of the communities that happen around them. Different ideas, insights, and beliefs are said online.
One study about Gen Z shows that 38% are said to express their self better online than in real life which was significantly greater than in Gen Y. this reliance on the internet when it comes to self expression, has both implications, not just on their personal lives but in their professional life as well.
Our generation are in need of improving public speaking and communication skills, because industrially speaking, no man can survive the challenges of the workforce being introverted. It will definitely have an impact in the way they communicate and build relationship at work.
Since we are living in a fast-paced world, we are being uncomfortable in being idle. We want everything fast, instant, and constant response or feedback.
Let us make sure that the company we will soon be applying are ready to take a step to handle us. Finally, we also need to adjust. It’s a two-way connection between us and our future workplace,
