Iconic Three Idiots’ lead star Aamir Khan announces to star in the Hindi-language version of Forrest Grump, a hit american movie on 1994.
He will play the role of Laal Singh Chaddha, based on Tom Hanks’ character from the original movie. A dim-witted but pure hearted man that wanted to prove that anyone can love.
“I have always loved ‘Forrest Gump’ as a script. It is a life-affirming story. It is a film for the whole family,” Khan says during his 54th birthday in Mumbai.
Forest Grump evolves about the life of a man who will face way too many tribulations on his journey but will never let it interfere with his happiness.
“Forrest Gump” won six Oscars, including best picture, best director and best actor for Hanks.
Khan’s movie comeback will be expected to hit the screens this next year by Paramount.
