Honesty, still the best Policy?

Alliah Delgado

Honesty is an evident of sincere feelings. Looking at a person eye to eye while talking is a sign of sincerity. You are not bothered by your concsience because you are aware and true to yourself.
Honesty also go with credibility. They say if you tell 9 lies and 1 truth, the only truth you’ve said will be considered a lie until no one believes in you and your credibility will be questioned.
But why do we tell lies? When do we tell lies? Is it necessary? As a human can we avoid this?
According to Psychology, as far as the psychology of unconcious is involved, lying is part of life but it differs from the act of telling lies. This conscious act makes effort to divert, deceive and consider an act of aggresion.
Rhetoric is a good way to divert and decieve and also for effective lying. Which was what most electoral candidates do. Its a rampant habit to new generation candidates. They lie for their own sake to gain popularity. Also to gain constituents and fool the mass.
Do these candidates deserve a seat?
Honesty is still the best policy? or Lies is the new policy?
