Many students are now facing difficulties in taking care of their emotional and mental health. Often times, we struggle on how we will fulfill our duties at home, at school, as a friend, or simply – as an individual. We get easily irritated when stress takes over us. Each one of us have or had experience this phase of our life.
We find a hard time catching up with the lessons and finishing tasks given to us, and then it leads to much bigger emotional stress. We tend to doubt ourselves and our capabilities as a student and as a human, and then the motivation and the drive to push harder go missing. Most of us fear the future and it affects the way we act on our present lives. We overanalyze and overthink things, and destroy it even before it happens.
“What if I never make it?” “What if I fail my parents’ or the society’s expectation to me?” “What if I’ll never be happy with what I started?”
But this, our fellow students, should stop. This kind of mindset will really bring us down. What if instead of thinking negatively, think the other way around?
“What if I make it?” “What if I become successful someday?” “What if all these hardwork today soon pay off?” Doesn’t that sound more pleasing?
We know, that certain breakdowns are inevitable in our life but we should always try to fight against those. It’s okay to cry, to fall, to lose, but we should always stand and start again. No one will help us better than ourselves.
