SHFC Celebrates Women’s Month

Various activities to celebrate the National Women’s Month was organized by Social Housing Finance Corporation. As part of the agency’s Gender and Development project,  Zumbabae, and Juana Bazaar was formed.

Every Mondays and Wednesdays of March, a free Zumba class will be held at SHFC’s Activity Center. This activity is open for anyone; whether you’re an employee for the corporation or one of our homepartners, you can move to the groove and aim to live a healthy life.

Community associations participated during the Juana Bazaar last March 15. Various products which they made themselves as part of their livelihood were sold during the said event. From handmade bags made of beads, wallets, purses, sandals, rags, up to different foods like ube and chicharon were present.

With this year’s theme as “We Make Change Work for Women,” SHFC guarantees to be a safe place to work in not by just women but of every people of any gender.
