There’s another pimple budding on different parts of your face. Your weight has been undeniably higher than before plus you become more and more irritable on the things around you. These are just some of the effects of sleep deprivation.
The problem is, sleep deprivation is most common on young adults because they are in the stage where college happens. Because of too many academically inclined activities, projects, and home works they tend to stay late at night and wake up early in the morning.
Another reason was, they take technological advancement for granted. Letting themselves drowned into social media sites until late at night reason why they lack sleep.
This kind of sleeping habits may cause teens and young adults to suffer chronic insomnia and other sleep related problems like sleep apnea. They undergo difficulty of falling asleep, difficulty of staying asleep, and not feeling rested despite of spending enough time in bed.
Problem is, missing sleep repeatedly affects every part of your life — from your health, your relationship with your friends and families, your ability to concentrate at school, to your daily mood. Many teens who miss sleep suffer with irritability, mood swings, and anxiety that may lately turn into depression. Too little sleep can also make young people more likely to suffer injuries and have auto accidents. That’s why it’s so important to deal with sleep disorders when they occur.
