Stardew Valley, the nostalgic farming roleplay game that was first released for Windows PCs back in 2016, has landed on Android. Until now, the mobile version has been exclusive to iOS, after coming to iPhone and iPad last October.
The release means the game is now available on PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and now, Android.
Other than the controls, Stardew Valley’s mobile version is the same game as its console variant. The primary goal is to build a farm) by building and investing in more and more expensive farming utilities and produce, but there’s also an entire town of NPCs to build relationships with, and dungeon areas to raid for better equipment and resources.
Users can import their existing Stardew Valley save from the Windows version using the instructions in the game’s wiki. Android users just need to connect their Android device to a PC and copy over their saves into their phone’s internal storage.
Stardew Valley’s Android port is available now for $7.99 with no further microtransansactions needed to enjoy the full game.
