Being in college faces new level of challenges and people you must cope with. It makes us mature when it comes to decision making and strengthen us as a person. The everyday rush of going back and forth to submit papers or to find professors is a task that needs determination. Commuting for hours with the poor traffic in the country just to be at home to do lots of paper works. Going home late from school and waking up early to catch your first subject will never be easy. Maintaining your grades for your Latin honor hopes and dreams despite this difficulties. All this hardship must be experienced by a college student because if not, well, you didn’t even faced the real brawl.
But why do some of the students graduate without exerting effort? They just go inside the institution and have some fun. Some doesn’t even prioritize their studies but still manage to get a diploma. How did they do that? What kind of sorcery they’ve got?
Once is enough but, twice is too much and if you still consider helping them without them trying to put at least some effort for the third time then, it’s your fault. Being kind is good, but if there’s a group or partner activity that stresses you out then better make a foot forward and take an action in this uneven situation.
A friendship has and should have limits. It will never be a win-win situation if you always got your friends’ back when deadlines are there, catching you up. You should not be the alone striving hard while the latter part is doing something irrelevant and does not benefit you and your hardship.
You may lose friends along the way but at least you never lose your self-respect. Enough with pity giving over so called friends who didn’t even help themselves.
