We all want to see the Avengers: Endgame already (Have you watched Captain Marvel though?), the end is near and die-hard Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are speculating theories even more.
The massive finale to the first decade of the MCU (and the end of MCU Phase 3) is coming and with each passing day until the theatrical release of Avengers: Endgame, fans learn new things about what to expect from the upcoming film.
Now that the Captain Marvel film has been released, not long after, a new trailer for Avengers: Endgame has been released. The much anticipated follow-up to last year’s blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War hit theaters in April, and it is directed once more by Joe and Anthony Russo.
The New Trailer:
The trailer starts much the same as the last one, with Tony Stark floating in space, feeling lonely and regretful. It then shows us a black and white montage of shots from earlier MCU movies (such as Iron Man and Thor) and the remaining Avengers all mourning the loss of their colleagues following the shocking climax of Infinity War.
But out heroes aren’t going to stand by and let Thanos claim victory, so set about forming a plan to bring their friends back. It also features an appearance from Captain Marvel, some cool Avengers spacesuits, new hairdos, and more. There is a lot of takeaways to be had regarding what we have learned, although there are suspicions that the trailer could be attempting to mislead us about some of the film’s events.
Like the Avengers when Thanos collected all of the Infinity Stones in last year’s Infinity War, fans were not prepared for the release of the second trailer for this upcoming movie. With no advance warning, Marvel debuted another full-length trailer early on March 14. Just as you’d hope from a new look at what is likely to be the year’s biggest movie, there are new scraps information to glean from this fresh footage. This trailer gives us a slightly better understanding of what the heck is going on in Endgame, aside from the fact everyone has multiple hairstyles. Are they all Skrulls or fashion forward?
In this new trailer, it show Clint and his daughter. Looks like we are finally going to find out what happened to Hawkeye’s family during Infinity War. There is a scene with Clint Barton and his daughter (Lila) enjoying the outdoors. Lila is practicing her archery and hits a bullseye. This has to take place early on or in the beginning of the movie. We knew already that Clint was under house arrest after accepting a ple deal related to the Sokovia Accords, but we will finally get to see what happened to him during this time.
Ant-Man, in his Scott Lang costume, looks at a post with a bunch of “missing” fliers on it. Because of Scott’s bewildered look, we can infer this takes place right after Scott escapes the Quantum Realm. However, here’s something to think about: He might have been stuck in the Quantum Realm for quite a while as the missing signs on the post look pretty beat up, and that doesn’t happen overnight.
There are a lot of fans noticing the sudden changes of hairstyles of each heroes in every scene in the trailer. Is it the past, present, or the future?
