Blackpink in your area: Manila

Kpop girl group, Blackpink, held a concert at the Mall of Asia Arena, where the fans called “Blinks,” made the popular “pink wave” for their idol’s first concert in the Philippines, Feb. 2.

The concert was attended by Filipino celebrities such as Liza Soberano, Bimby Aquino, Sue Ramirez, and a lot more.

At the start, each member of the group introduced themselves in Tagalog in front of all their Filipino fans, and the audience screamed.

The group seemed had fun at their concert, and they promised they will come back for the Filipino fans.

BLACKPINK is managed by YG entertainment and known for their hits such as “DDU-DU-DDU-DU,” “Boombayah,” “As if it’s your last” and the collaboration with Dua Lipa, “Kiss and Make Up.”

Last November. the group announced that they will make a stop in Manila for its BLACKPINK’s 2019 World Tour [In your Area]

At the night of their arrival, it turned into chaos as fans jumped and climbing into the barricades and a car to catch a glimpse of Blackpink, some described the fans as “zombies” or “walking dead.”



Consequently, members of Blackpink had to find another exit.

Before the concert, Blackpink’s Jennie expressed her love to the Filipino fans through her Instagram post.
